Roleplaying The Avenging Spirit: You're a disturbed young man. Never popular in the first place (hence the invisibility), you were put into a situation that you couldn't handle. Your mind created the Avenging Spirit to keep you sane and stable. Whenever you feel safe you will talk and behave as "yourself", but whenever you are stressed or threatened the Avenging Spirit will come out. It's your defense mechanism, and it happens to work.
Design Notes: The main inspiration for the Avenging Spirit was to make a character with deranged delusions that would still be playable. Combine this with the Invisibility Quality from The Magic Box and there you go.
