Monster Sketch: Many times the Scooby gang will need to identify a creature to learn its habits, haunts, and weaknesses. The more information they have the more quickly they'll be able to get some answers. Having a sketch of a monster can be quite handy at research time.
If the artist witnessed the monster in question, they can produce an image of it. Roll Perception and Art. Each success will give subsequent research rolls a +1 bonus. If the artist was not the one who saw the monster, they can still produce a sketch from the description. This applies a -2 modifier to the roll.
This all assumes of course that the creature witnessed is what the group is really looking for. If there was a case of mistaken identity, disguise, or illusion the sketch may not provide any bonus at all.
