Leah - Leah was a vampire groupie, one of those kids that become obsessed with vampires and almost worship them. Then one day her club ran into a real vampire, and figured out that they were less Dark and Mysterious Beings of the Night and more Monsters That Suck Your Blood and Leave You For Dead. It was then she discovered her supernatural strength and speed, and if not for her none of them would have survived. She still favors the Goth look and doesn't fit in with her peers much, but she defends them regardless.
Mason - Mason was also obsessed with vampires, albeit in a different manner. His was movies, comics, books - anything with vampires in it, he was all over it. Then came the day he met an actual vampire - if he didn't have his cross with him he would have been a goner. Now he runs with the Slayer, and has gotten an Aspect of the Demon granting him supernatural strength himself.
Adam - Adam is the Zeppo of the group. He has no supernatural strengh, can't summon arcane power, can't turn into anything brutal and nasty. He's a skater kid with a good sense of humor and a low sense of self preservation. He can often feel overwhelmed by the power of his friends, but he's still a vital part of the team. He's especially not afraid to jump into the fray if his girlfriend Stacy is in danger.
Ella - Ella is a young witch. She is really just starting to get into magic and is very cautious about it so far. She's also one of the school's brains, so does a lot of research and such as well. Her little sister Amber is always poking around too, since discovering what goes on she's a wanna-be Scooby. Ella is still a beginner witch, but she's collected a decent number of spells.
Shane - Shane is a high school hero. Quarterback of the football team, as well as playing basketball and baseball, he's the guy the girls want and the boys want to be. He also has a secret - he's a werewolf. It's a family affliction, so he's had his whole life to get control of the beast within. Still, it isn't always easy for him.
